Christoph Trebesch

Christoph Trebesch is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Munich, Germany. He completed his PhD at Free University of Berlin in early 2011 and holds a postgraduate degree from the Kiel Institute of World Economics. During his doctoral studies he spent a year at Yale University as a Fox Fellow and worked for the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the Hertie School of Governance. His research focuses on international finance, in particular sovereign debt and default, and on international migration.
