Christopher Fulton

Senior Lecturer in Aquatic Ecology, Australian National University

Chris Fulton is a Senior Lecturer at The Australian National University who trained as a coral reef ecologist but now works in a range of aquatic ecosystems spanning coral reefs to freshwater streams throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea, French Polynesia, USA and Europe. He is interested in how species adapt to the challenges posed by their environment, such as extremes in temperature or water movement, and what this means for their distribution across the globe now and into the future. Being a strong advocate for the communication of research, Chris works closely with State and Federal Government agencies and Industry stakeholders to ensure research outcomes lead to improved management of our unique aquatic biodiversity.
