I am working as a Research and Policy Fellow (equivalent of an Assistant Professor) in the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University. I completed my Masters of International and Development Economics from Yale University and my PhD in Economics at the Australian National University. Over the last decade I have worked as an economist for a range of organisations including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) and the Australian Government. I have also helped to pioneer the use of randomized control trials in Papua New Guinea and elsewhere in the Pacific.
