Cian McCafferty

Dr. Cian McCafferty is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Anatomy & Neuroscience in University College Cork. He has published on the brain regions involved in absence, or petit mal, seizures, and the mechanisms underlying the impairment of consciousness associated with these seizures. His research involves measuring the electrical activity of the brain and linking it to behaviour and experience.
