Honorary Research Fellow in History, The University of Western Australia

Claire Cooke is an honorary research fellow in the History Department at the University of Western Australia. Dr. Cooke received her Ph.D. in Gender Studies from the University of Western Australia in 2016.

Her research focuses upon African American missionary women working within South Africa during the early twentieth century. Her work has appeared in Safundi: The Journal of South African and American Studies, the Australasian Review of African Studies and Mission Studies.

Dr. Cooke is also a member of the Australian Women's History Network's Lilith Editorial Collective.
