I am a public health researcher specialising in homelessness, housing and health. I am currently undertaking a PhD on the implementation of Housing First in New Zealand entitled 'The Evolution of Housing First in New Zealand'. I'm the Vice-Chair of Dwell Housing Trust, a community housing provider. My 2014 Master's research looked at boarding houses in Wellington. I worked as a public health advisor on homelessness, housing and health in Wellington for 13 years. My original qualification was in nursing and I worked as a public health nurse specialising in communicable diseases in Wellington and London.
