Clare Southerton

Lecturer, Digital Technology & Pedagogy, La Trobe University

​​Dr Clare Southerton is a Lecturer in Digital Technology and Pedagogy in the School of Education at La Trobe University. Her research explores the intersections between social media and digital technologies, and issues related to intimacy, sexuality, privacy, and health. She is a co-author of The Face Mask In COVID Times: A Sociomaterial Analysis (De Gruyter, 2021) and her work has been published in New Media & Society, Social Media + Society and the International Journal of Communication.
