Clodagh Harrington

Clodagh Harrington joined De Montfort University, Leicester in 2006 and is Associate Professor of American Politics.

She was chair of the (PSA) American Politics Group from 2015-18 and is a member of the Political Studies Association, American Political Science Association and British Association for American Studies.

Her latest publication is a (co-authored) monograph with Alex Waddan (Leicester University) on President Trump's rollback of the Obama era legacy, published by Edinburgh University Press in September 2020 - https://edinburghuniversitypress.com/book-obama-v-trump.html

Clodagh is a regular contributor to UK and international media outlets on the topics of US elections, the presidency and domestic policy issues.
