Infectious Diseases Lead, King's Sierra Leone Partnership, King's College London

Dr Colin Brown is an Infectious Diseases registrar and the infectious diseases lead for the King's Sierra Leone Partnership.

Colin's recent roles have involved an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Infectious Diseases & Medical Microbiology through King’s College London, a National Fellowship to the Health Protection Agency through the NHS Medical Director’s Clinical Fellows Scheme, and a Medical Research Council-funded Epidemiology Masters at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He helps lead educational research with Alma Mata Global Health Graduates’ Network, is a Trustee for the Tropical Health and Education Trust, and an advisor to the All Parliamentary Working Group on Global Health.

Colin aims to help KSLP develop capacity in the field of tuberculosis, HIV, and laboratory diagnostics. Most recently he has worked with KSLP to assist the Sierra Leone Ministry of Health & Sanitation in their response against Ebola Virus Disease.
