Dan Chester is a PhD researcher at Lancaster University. His research, contributing to the Timescales and Investment Dynamics in the Economy (TIDE) project under the ESRC/NIESR Rebuilding Macroeconomics network, investigates how the turnover dynamics of capital assets determine the inertia of economies, particularly in the context of a rapid climate transition where large financial values may be at risk.
