Medical Student, Monash University

Daniel is medical student at Monash University. He recently completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (Hons) at the University of Oxford, exploring treatment options for drug offenders in the criminal justice system. Daniel has ongoing interests in a number of areas, including: economics, artificial intelligence, political philosophy, effective altruism, public policy, and normative/practical ethics. He is the National Launch Director for Effective Altruism Australia – an evidence-based charity that has raised more than $400,000 in five months – and Executive Board Member at Doctus Project, a health journalism organisation.
