ARC DECRA Fellow, The University of Queensland

"Can you make broccoli taste like Cheetos?" My hairdresser asked when I told her I am doing research on human taste. "One day" I replied.

As a researcher with passion for chemosensory genetics, I believe human perception of taste and smell have an undeniable impact on health and this relationship is evolutionarily programmed in our genes.

My goal is to solve puzzles and bring sciences from lab to everyday life.
