Daniel Pout joined the School of Politics and Global Studies as an instructor in January 2016. Prior to that, he obtained his doctorate in political science at Arizona State University in 2014. He has taught at a number of institutions of higher education including Montana State University, Glendale Community College, and Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. Daniel was in Skopje conducting research for his dissertation, "The promise of a name: Identity, difference, and political movement in Macedonia," with the support of a U.S. Fulbright research grant. Daniel is originally from Hartlepool, England and he completed his undergraduate degree at Brunel University in 2006.
