Daniel Thomas Potts

Professor of Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology and History, New York University

Daniel Potts has decades of archaeological survey and excavation in the Near East (since 1973), mainly in Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. He has taught at universities in Europe, Australia, the U.S., Armenia and Kurdistan. And published extensively, including over 280 articles and 20 books.
