Daniela Acquaro

Dr Daniela Acquaro (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne. She has been an educator and leader in the secondary and tertiary education sector for over 25 years.

Daniela is the Program Director of Initial Teacher Education within the Melbourne Graduate School of Education providing oversight of the suite of Master of Teaching courses including Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary. Daniela’s teaching and research centers on initial teacher education and educational leadership. She is particularly interested in how we prepare teachers for the profession and how we can develop leadership within the profession. Daniela is committed to school improvement and is engaged in various research projects which focus on school university partnerships, teacher transitions into the workforce and successful school leadership.
