Darlington Munyikwa

Lecturer for Geomorphology and Palaeontology, Midlands State University

Darlington Munyikwa is the Acting Executive Director of National Museums and
Monuments of Zimbabwe. He joined National Museums and Monuments of Zimbabwe in
1991 as Curator of Palaeontology and was initially promoted Regional Director and later
Deputy Executive Director. He is currently a Part Time Lecturer for Geomorphology and
Palaeontology at Midlands State University, Zimbabwe. Darlington Munyikwa was once
appointed a visiting lecturer at the University of Zimbabwe He has over 30 years of
experience in heritage management involving research, preservation and preservation. His
research focus is on the palaeontology and sedimentology of the Limpopo and Zambezi
Karoo basins of Zimbabwe and has produced some publications in the local and international
journals.
