Professor of Social Justice Education, University of Calgary

Dr. Darren E. Lund's research examines social justice activism in schools, communities, and professional education programs. Darren was a high school teacher for 16 years, and founded the award-winning Students and Teachers Opposing Prejudice (STOP) program. Darren has published over 350 articles, books, and book chapters, and is editor of the Wiley International Handbook of Service-Learning for Social Justice. He co-founded the ongoing Service-Learning Program for Diversity, winner of the national 2012 Award of Excellence in Education from the Canadian Race Relations Foundation.
