Adjunct Associate Professor in Equine Exercise Science, Charles Sturt University

David Evans graduated BVSc (Hons) in 1975 and spent seven years in veterinary clinical practice prior to completing a PhD in equine exercise physiology at the University of Sydney in 1987. After two years in self-employed consultancy positions, he then commenced employment at the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Sydney, Australia. main areas of research have been in areas related to training and fitness measurement in racehorses, and respiratory function. He is now Adjunct Associate Professor, Charles Sturt University, and Associate Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Science, The University of Sydney. As well, Dr Evans provides consultancy services in equine exercise science.
