David J. Harding

David J. Harding is Professor of Sociology and Director of the Social Sciences Data Lab (D-Lab) at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests include urban poverty, inequality, criminal justice, culture, and causal inference. Harding is the author of "On the Outside: Prisoner Reentry and Reintegration" (University of Chicago Press 2019), "Living the Drama: Community, Conflict and Culture among Inner-City Boys" (University of Chicago Press, 2010) and co-author of "Rampage: The Social Roots of School Shootings" (Basic Books, 2004).
