Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies, The University of Melbourne

I am a Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies in the Asia Institute at the University of Melbourne. I am the author of 'The House of Service: The Gülen Movement and Islam's Third Way' (Oxford University Press, 2014), and co-author of 'Religion and Change in Australia' (Routledge, 2022). My research interests are Muslim movements, Turkish politics and society, religion and development, and the Middle East.
