Davies Banda

Davies Banda is the Director of Learning and Teaching at University of Edinburgh's Moray House of Education. He has previously held brief posts at Sheffield Hallam University before spending 10 years (2006 – 2016) at York St John University as a Senior Lecturer in Sport Policy.

His research interests are centred particularly on: youth sport and social inclusion policies, sport-for-development and international development, and corporate social responsibility through sport.

Davies has worked as a consultant in Europe, Middle East and Africa where he has engaged with private, voluntary and public sector sports agencies. He is manual author and part of programme architects of Euroleague Basketball's acclaimed One Team CSR programme.
