Dr Dawn Branley-Bell is a Chartered Psychologist and Research Fellow at Northumbria University. A committee member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Cyberpsychology section, Dawn specialises in research around social media use, health and wellbeing and online behaviour. She is particularly interested in online communication around eating disorders, self-harm and suicidal ideation. Dr Branley-Bell's other research interests include exploring the positive side of internet usage, cybersecurity, and technology-based interventions to support recovery and/or promote behaviour change.
