My broad background entails several university degrees and the corresponding industry experience having worked many years in large and small organizations i.e., electrical engineering undergrad from the University of Toronto and experience at Ontario Hydro and IBM/Celestica; CPA CMA (accountant) and work experience in finance/accounting; MBA for Science & Technology from Queen's U. and experience as a strategy consultant at CGEY and Harrison Associates (banking, pharma, retail, etc.); PhD in strategic management led to academia. I have three academic books and many articles, cases, etc. My research in sustainable development focuses on topics addressing the environment and climate change such as the circular economy, divestment of fossil fuels, sustainable urban/corporate/international governnance, and clean tech entrepreneurship and its financing, including clean energy and sustainable transportation technologies.
