Deborah McNamara

Professor Deborah McNamara is a Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin; Clinical Professor in Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland; Co-Lead of the National Clinical Programme for Surgery and a member of Council at RCSI.

In addition to a primary MB MAO BCh (Hons) degree from Trinity College, Dublin, she has completed an MD thesis by research from TCD, specialist qualifications in surgery from RCSI including the FRCSI and FRCSI (Gen Surg) and qualifications in Quality Improvement and Leadership (Diploma, RCPI) as well as Implementation Science (PG Certificate with Distinction, TCD).
