Professor of Nursing Aged Care (Dementia), University of Technology Sydney

Registered nurse specialised in aged care. For last 20 years have been working in research specifically in the area of palliative care for older people. I have a BA in Sociology/Psychology, a Masters of Social Science Research and a PhD in medical sociology.
I have received over $35 million in grant funding to understand and improve the palliative care needs of older people. I am President of Palliative Care NSW and Chair of College of Nursing Ageing Policy Chapter.
