Discipline-Hopping Research Intern, Electronics and Medieval Studies, University of York

I am currently undertaking a postdoctoral research internship at the Centre for Chronic Diseases and Disorder at the University of York. I have 'hopped disciplines' from my postgraduate field of Medieval Studies, to the Electronics Department. I am working on a project which uses image processing and evolutionary algorithms to analyse samples of medieval handwriting for evidence of neurodegenerative conditions.
