Debra Laxton

As Senior Lecturer in Education and Early Childhood lead at the University of Chichester, I teach across education programmes including initial teacher training where I lead on the early years specialisms and subject study.

I have a keen interest in translational research that seeks to improve the lives and experiences of children locally, nationally and globally to improve social and academic outcomes. I have worked with colleagues and other organisations e.g. Education Futures Collaboration and Voluntary Service Overseas to develop guides and projects that support educators and parents to develop knowledge and improve practice.
