I have studied and engaged in space weather science since graduate school. I developed an undergraduate space weather course and wrote a textbook entitled "Understanding Space Weather and the Physics Behind It," which is now widely used in various colleges and universities. Currently I teach a space environment and space weather graduate class in the Aerospace Engineering Sciences Department at the University of Colorado Boulder. My graduate students are deeply engaged in space environment data analysis. I am presently Editor in Chief of the American Geophysical Union's Space Weather journal and a Senior Research Associate at the US National Center for Atmospheric Research High Altitude Observatory
