Denise McConnell

Denise McConnell has spent more than 15 years working in mental health as a specialist pharmacist. She initially worked at The Maudsley Hospital in London where she set up and ran a national medicines information service for health professionals as well as for patients and carers. She also was an author and editor on The Maudsley Prescribing Guidelines for many years. On returning to Australia Denise worked as the Senior Mental Health Pharmacist at The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital before moving to the Gold Coast where she now works as a lecturer at the School of Pharmacy on the Gold Coast.
