I'm an assistant professor in Auburn University's Master of Technical and Professional Communication Program, and the Ethics columnist/editor for Intercom: The magazine of the Society for Technical Communication.
I received my PhD in Technical Communication and Rhetoric from Texas Tech University, my MA in English from Virginia Tech, and a degree in Biology from University of Southern Mississippi.
I teach, or have taught, classes in technical writing, document design, policy writing, ethics, and environment-related rhetoric, among others.
My research interests include perceptions of environment-related rhetoric, ethics, document design, and audience analysis.
