Dev Tayal is a researcher at Curtin University's Sustainability Policy Institute - with a focus on renewable energy technology and policy.

Dev has degrees in electrical engineering and commerce from the University of Western Australia, and an M.Phil. in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, where he studied as a Menzies Scholar.

He has previously worked as an adviser to the UK and Australian Governments, consultant to the United Nations Development Programme, and engineer for various energy companies around the world.
