Dianne Rodger is a Hip-Hop fan and Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at the University of Adelaide. Her research focuses on music (Hip-Hop), youth culture, digital media and health. Most recently, she has published a book about the Hilltop Hoods' album The Calling in the Bloomsbury 33 1/3 Oceania series. She is currently working on a project about the histories and futures of Hip-Hop in Australia and a co-edited book with Dr. Sudiipta Dowsett, Dr. Lucas Marie and Dr. Grant Saunders. This edited collection (working title 'Hip-Hop Cultures in Australia') is under contract with Routledge.
