Lecturer, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia

Dicky Pelupessy is a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia with areas of specialisation: social psychology and community psychology. He received his PhD degree in Psychology (Community Psychology) from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia. He completed his PhD thesis on sense of community, connection to place, and the role of culture by using a constructivist grounded theory approach.

He is keen on qualitative methodology and social intervention. Currently, he is director of Crisis Center, Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Indonesia and coordinator of Master of Applied Psychology program with concentration in Social Intervention.
