Dominic Hinde is an academic and journalist working on environmental communication and ecomodernity. He completed his PhD in 2015 with the title 'Our shared future: The rhetorics of modern Swedish environmentalism' at the Division of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Edinburgh and has been a visiting researcher at the Division of Rhetoric at Uppsala University in Sweden.

Dominic holds an undergraduate degree in German and Scandinavian Studies and a Masters by Research from the University of Edinburgh on environmental narrative in Sweden. He also works as a journalist and commentator on Northern Europe and the Arctic.
