My research focuses on the question: How and where are the elements made in the universe?
By analysing geological, lunar and meteoritic samples by Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS), which is highly sensitive single atom counting of long-lived radioactive isotopes, I find live traces of stellar explosions in our solar system and specifically on Earth.
Besides research, I have a passion for teaching undergraduates and high school students which I pursue since more than 5 years.
