Douglas Piper

Doug Piper is a Psychology Ph.D. student at Georgetown University with a concentration in Human Development and Public Policy. He works with Dr. Rachel Barr in the Georgetown Early Learning Project on research exploring children’s early interactions, focusing on play and digital media. This work builds on his experiences at the Temple Infant and Child Lab, where he supported the Playful Learning Landscapes Action Network. Doug is a graduate of the University of Michigan with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and music. He also earned a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy.
