Dr MIck Chisnall

Michael (Mick) Chisnall BSc [Maths] PhD [Pol. Sci.] undertakes research in socio-technology at the University of Canberra’s Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis (IGPA) and is the Director of his digital consulting business, Information Ergonomics. His research interests include Socio-technology, Post Structuralist Discourse Analysis, Actor Network Theory, Digital Governance, Ontology and Epistemology. His non-academic career included working as a senior executive with the ACT Government. After running the Government’s ICT Shared Services organisation for 4 years he founded the ACT Government Information Office (GIO) as its Executive Director. Before this, he worked in private industry as an ICT executive and a consultant.
