Edgardo Sepulveda

Edgardo Sepulveda an Associate Fellow at the National Institute on Ageing (NIA) in Toronto, Canada. His broader research focuses on economic inequality, the electricity sector and decarbonization (see, and COVID from a social science perspective.

Edgardo has been a consulting economist for more than 25 years during which he has advised UN agencies, the World Bank, national Ministries and Regulatory Agencies, operators, public interest groups and unions in more than 40 countries.

He has an M.A. in Economics, is fluent in English and Spanish and has a good working knowledge of French. Edgardo is a member of the American Economics Association (AEA), the Canadian Economics Association (CEA) and the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE).
