PhD Candidate, Department of Sociology, University of Guelph

My PhD research is on non-profit housing activists and advocate's life histories. I focus on their backgrounds and their relationships to organizations that have helped or hindered their progression as activists.
My master's research was on washrooms for customers only rules in Toronto. I interviewed workers in the service industry and also gathered quantitative data on washroom usage to examine the narratives that workers use to explain washrooms for customers only rules.
I am a SSHRC Storytellers 2022 Top 25 Finalist, and a CHEC Emerging Housing Scholar.
