Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Drake University

Edward Bell is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences of Drake University. He received his bachelor of pharmacy and doctor of pharmacy degrees from the University of Maryland, and completed a pediatric pharmacy residency at the University of Nebraska. He specializes in pediatric pharmacy, the appropriate use of medicines in the pediatric population. Dr. Bell is currently writing a book for parents and other caregivers: Children's Medicines - What Every Parent, Grandparent, and Teacher Needs to Know (Johns Hopkins Health Press). He writes a regular column, Pharmacology Consult, for the publication Infectious Diseases in Children.
