Edwin Murungi

Dr. Murungi graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi, Kenya in 2003. After completing his internship in 2004 at a Kenyan public hospital, he proceeded to South Africa where he obtained an MSc degree in Structural Biology from the University of Cape Town/University of the Western Cape in 2007. Thereafter, he gained a PhD in Bioinformatics at the South African National Bioinformatics Institute (SANBI) under the supervision of Professor Alan Christoffels in 2012. Dr. Murungi is a Senior Lecturer and Chair of the department of Medical Biochemistry at Kisii University, Kenya.
