Efpraxia D. Zamani

Lecturer of information Systems, De Montfort University

My work is focused around the use and non use of Information Systems, their societal and organisational implications. In the past, I have worked on how people approach, use and eventually appropriate information systems and IT in general, and this has led to several high ranking peer-reviewed papers.
I am also very much interested in distributed ledger technologies, as viewed through the lens of business applications. Recently, I have investigated and published work that looks into factors that inhibit or indeed support the adoption of the blockchain by businesses and organisations.
At the same time, I have been involved in several funded research projects within the fields of responsible research and innovation, augmented reality and mobile technologies, innovation, and many others.
