Elaine Hsieh (MA, Monterey Institute of International Studies; Ph.D., University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; J.D., University of Oklahoma) is an internationally accomplished researcher and a Professor at the University of Oklahoma. She has worked professionally as a translator and an interpreter in the US and in Taiwan. As an NIH-funded researcher and a Fulbright Scholar, she examines the universal and culturally-specific experiences of minority and marginalized populations.
