Senior Lecturer in Law, University of Liverpool

Eleanor Drywood researches human rights and sports law. Her current research focuses on the application of a children's rights perspective to sports law. She has particular interests in migration, child footballers and professional football. Eleanor's broader research interests include asylum and immigration law, EU law, children's rights and research ethics. She has worked with UNICEF and the EU Fundamental Rights Agency, and has published in leading international journals on EU law and children's rights.

Eleanor Drywood has been a Lecturer at the Liverpool Law School since September 2008, and a Senior Lecturer since October 2013. She is a graduate of the Univerisité de Bordeaux-Montesquieu IV in France and the University of Liverpool, gaining her PhD from the latter in 2010.
