Eleanor Dumbill is a doctoral researcher at Loughborough University. Her thesis questions the impact of reception and relationships on the lasting reputations of George Eliot, Frances Milton Trollope, and Frances Eleanor Trollope. She is interested in book history, victorian popular fiction, and women's writing.
Eleanor co-hosts the Victorian Scribblers podcast, which aims to introduce listeners to the lives and works of lesser-known nineteenth-century writers.
