Elenie Poulos is an Adjunct Fellow at Macquarie University where she was recently awarded a PhD (Politics). Her PhD thesis examined the public discourses and politics of religious freedom in Australia and she has had four papers on the topic published. She researches and writes in the area of religion, politics and society. Elenie is an ordained Minister of the Uniting Church in Australia and was, for 15 years, the Director of the Church’s national justice policy and advocacy unit.
