Elias Ghazal

The focus of my PhD research is on religion and proxy war. I am exploring the the link between Iran and Hezbollah as a case study for evaluating the efficacy of proxy tactics and the struggle for hegemony in the Middle East. In general, I have interests in Middle East politics, religion and politics, Lebanese domestic politics, and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
