Eliran Arazi is a PhD researcher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Advanced School in the Social Sciences (EHESS-Paris). He is currently also a research fellow at the Musée du quai Branly. Arazi's research focuses on the Andoque people of the Colombian Amazon, investigating power dynamics within their relationships with nonhuman beings and non-Indigenous agents. Drawing on approaches and sub-disciplines of symbolic ecology, political ecology, and political anthropology, Arazi explores Indigenous perceptions of space and territory, the politics of Indigenous knowledge, engagement with the dual economy, and interactions with environmental agencies.
