Elizabeth de Kadt

Professor and Consultant in Higher Education, University of Johannesburg

My doctorate was in mediaeval German literature, but more recently I have researched in sociolinguistics. The last 10 years of my career were spent in executive management at two universities, leading colleagues working in academic development and support. Now retired, I am working on a number of educational development projects at the University of Johannesburg, including an institutional staff development and mentoring project, the national Teaching Advancement at Universities (TAU) Fellowships project, and the accreditation of UJ's LLB degree.
