Research Fellow, Orygen - the National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health, The University of Melbourne

Dr Brown is an Early Career Researcher working at Orygen, the National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health within the University of Melbourne. She is also an AHPRA registered Counselling Psychologist. She has worked with people with ill-health across the age span in a clinical and research capacity for over 12 years, in the UK, Qatar, and Australia.

In her research fellow role at Orygen, Ellie leads a program of work aiming at engaging young people experiencing mental ill-health in holistic treatments and services to support their physical, sexual and mental health. She works closely with Orygen clinicians to engage them in undertaking research, for example, supporting them to implement meaningful service evaluation and publish this work. She has received funding from the Department of Health, PHNs and University of Melbourne.
